Family Tree DNA offers Autosomal, mtDNA, and Y-DNA Tests. You can purchase them together in various packages or all separately. Prices vary from package to package and often depend on how detailed you want your reports to be. More details = higher price. While we like the overall services from Family Tree DNA and the fairly good customer experience, they are FAR more expensive than other DNA Testing services.

For just $79, you can get an Autosomal DNA Test, but the reports will be VERY basic and you won’t learn much. Their most comprehensive package, which includes an Autosomal, mtDNA, and Y-DNA Test costs $546!
