In the past few decades, DNA testing through DNA samples has grown tremendously with technological and medical advancements. DNA is commonly found on items that are physically touched such as clothing, drink bottles, hats, headphones, postage stamps, and tissues. To properly store DNA samples, never store them in plastic products and avoid placing them in warm environments or in direct sunlight. DNA samples are frequently used for testing purposes including ancestry, familial, forensic, and genetic. Everyone should be properly informed on the importance of DNA samples so they can be utilized for a variety of purposes.
